Web conferencing is used to conduct live meetings or presentations over the Internet. In a web conference, each participant sits at their own computer, and is connected to other participants via the internet through a downloaded application which a "host" company provides and charges for its use; whereby attendees enter a "URL" or website meeting address to enter the live meeting or conference. Web conferencing can be used to text chat, poll and survey, share PowerPoint slides, Word/Excel document, or a motion video.
A Coordination fee of $125.00 is required per web conference with a maximum of two hours; this fee includes pre-testing and equipment setup. The fee does not include web conference vendor charges. The client must provide the host computer with web conference software installed and telecommunication connection.
Video conferencing uses telecommunications of audio and video to bring people at different sites together for a meeting. This can be as simple as a conversation between two people in private offices (point-to-point) or involve several sites (multi-point) with more than one person in large rooms at different sites. Besides the audio and visual transmission of people, video conferencing can be used to share PowerPoint slides, Word/Excel document, or a motion video.
eDUBmedia will provide staff support to assist all technical aspects of a videoconference. These include but not limited to coordinating a conference, testing of all sites involved in a videoconference and managing the videoconference.
A Coordination fee of $150.00 is required per videoconference with a maximum of two hours; this fee includes pre-testing with far-site(s), equipment setup and conference management. The client must provide the VTC System and telecommunication connection.
